About Inspired Now Wellness
What makes Inspired Now different from other wellness programs?
We're the only provider in North Carolina combining health coaching + holistic services + care coordination in one place, with clinical partnerships, insurance-aligned billing, dual public health and holistic credentials, and a health equity focus on underserved populations — all while offering statewide virtual accessibility.
What is health and wellness coaching?
Health and wellness coaching is a collaborative, client-centered approach to help you identify and achieve your personal health goals. Unlike medical treatment, coaching focuses on lifestyle behavior change, motivation, accountability, and self-management skills. Our coaches help you set realistic goals, develop personalized action plans, overcome barriers, and build sustainable healthy habits.
Are you a medical practice?
No. Inspired Now Wellness and Community Partners is not a medical practice. We do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, or provide medical treatment. We provide non-clinical wellness, education, and care coordination services that complement your medical care.
What are your credentials?
Our team holds a combination of advanced degrees, board certifications, and professional licensure across public health, holistic wellness, and esthetics. We bring both clinical-adjacent expertise and hands-on holistic care to every client we serve. All services provided by Inspired Now Wellness and Community Partners, LLC are non-clinical wellness services. We do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. We work alongside your existing healthcare team to support your overall well-being through education, lifestyle coaching, and holistic care practices.
What's the difference between wellness coaching and therapy?
Wellness coaching focuses on lifestyle, behavior change, and goal achievement — it's forward-looking and action-oriented, addressing nutrition, activity, stress, and chronic disease self-management. Therapy is provided by licensed mental health professionals and treats diagnosed mental health conditions. Many people benefit from both — we can coordinate with your therapist if needed.
Wellness Coaching
Can wellness coaching help with chronic conditions like diabetes or high blood pressure?
Absolutely. Our coaches help you understand your condition, implement lifestyle changes in nutrition and physical activity, track important health metrics, improve medication adherence, communicate effectively with your healthcare team, and build confidence in self-management. We work in partnership with your doctor to support your medical treatment plan.
How do I know if wellness coaching is right for me?
Coaching is beneficial if you want to make lifestyle changes but need support, have chronic health conditions and want to improve management, feel stuck with your health goals, want to reduce stress or improve energy, have been referred by your doctor for lifestyle support, or want to prevent future health problems. Not sure? Schedule a free 15-minute consultation.
What happens after I complete my coaching sessions?
You have several options: continue with monthly maintenance check-ins, graduate independently with the skills you've built, join group coaching for affordable ongoing support, or add holistic services to maintain mind-body balance. You remain part of our community with access to workshops, events, and educational resources.
Insurance & Payment
Do you accept insurance?
Yes! We work with NC Medicaid Managed Care Plans including AmeriHealth Caritas, WellCare, United Healthcare Community Plan, and Healthy Blue. We're also working with commercial insurance plans — contact us to verify your coverage. Note: Holistic and spa-like services are not insurance billable and are private pay only.
Can I use HSA/FSA funds?
Yes! Wellness coaching for chronic disease management typically qualifies for HSA/FSA funds. We provide itemized receipts for reimbursement. Check with your HSA/FSA administrator to confirm eligibility for your specific plan.
What if my insurance doesn't cover wellness services?
We offer several options: private pay at posted rates with package discounts (save $60–$180), a sliding scale available through grants for qualifying individuals, HSA/FSA payment, and grant-funded program opportunities. Contact us to discuss what works for your situation.
What's your cancellation policy?
We require 48 hours' notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur fees of up to 50% of the session cost.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, HSA/FSA cards, insurance direct billing, and cash or check (payable to Inspired Now Wellness and Community Partners, LLC). Payment plans are available for wellness packages. We do not currently accept Venmo, CashApp, or payment apps.
Scheduling & Format
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can book online through our website booking calendar, call us at (984) 212-2560 (Mon–Fri 11AM–7PM), or email info@inspirednowwellness.org with your name, phone, preferred service, and 2–3 date/time options. First-time clients: we recommend a free 15-minute consultation first.
Do you offer virtual appointments?
Yes! Most services are available via secured video conferencing. You can also mix virtual and in-person appointments based on your schedule — many clients prefer virtual for regular coaching check-ins and in-person for holistic services.
Is my information kept confidential?
Absolutely. We are fully HIPAA-compliant with encrypted electronic health records, secure HIPAA-compliant email and video platforms, and limited access to your information on a need-to-know basis. We share information only with your authorization or as required by law.
I'm a healthcare provider. How do I refer a patient?
Download the referral form from our Community Partners page, complete it with patient demographics, diagnosis, and goals, then email to info@inspirednowwellness.org or have the patient bring it to their first appointment. We contact the patient within 48 hours, schedule an initial assessment, and send you regular progress updates.
